She, and fellow student, Lisa Quirk, will be recognized for their scholarship, leadership, and community service at a ceremony March 26 in Olympia.

- Mark you calendars, this years KWANZAA celebration will be December 5th at 6:00 to 8:45. There will be entertainment, a wonderful keynote speaker, Eric Davis and of course, a FREE dinner. All are welcomed to participate in this great event so bring yourself and your family.

- If you are not already registered to vote in Washington and you miss the 30-day (mail in) deadline, you can register in person at your county elections department until 15 days before the election. Contact your County Auditor for assistance and information.

There are only a few more day to register to vote by mail. There will be several booths out in the courtyard this week so if you are not registered to vote please stop by and register. It is easy and only takes a few minutes to register.
