What did you study at EdmondsCC?:
I earned an MFA in Creative Writing from Goddard College and have a bachelor's in Journalism from Western Washington University
Why EdmondsCC?:
Everyone here is at a point in their life where they are motivated to work toward their goals and dreams. It's inspiring!
Favorite class:
My favorite college classes were: 8 a.m. International Relations followed by 9 a.m. Modern Dance!
Best advice for new students:
Figure out how much time you'll need to study (two hours to study per credit is a good rule) and schedule it. Tell friends and family that's your study time. Then use it well. Do this faithfully and then, when its not your scheduled study time, you can actually relax. You won't have to spend every minute feeling like you should be studying!
Dream job:
This is it! Also to be a novelist/astronaut, preferably at the same time.

The Classroom 2.0 social network is a good example of how groups, clubs, or occupation-specific topics can be networked with other education-centric social networks. Notice that the Classroom 2O Ning site has 28,082 members and 393 groups.

A group of students and facility heard about Edmonds' Social Network as a result of my research as a student into a student government sanctioned student website. I've been a Ning developer for about 10 months and have learned a lot. Someone in LCC's facility heard of your use of Ning. I decided to check it out to see how northwestern and southwestern community colleges might collaborate and grow together.
