Materials Science Technology
The Edmonds Community College Materials Science Technology classes introduce students to materials science and focus on composite materials, engineering design and manufacturing of structures. Many courses include a strong lab component to provide hands-on experience with manufacturing and testing equipment used in the industry. In the past, students have built racecars, submarines, prosthetics, snowboards, and a wind turbine — the colleges first foray into the creation of renewable energy.
